My family have been to Shanghai five times now. My wife is Shanghainese and has lots of family living in Shanghai. We first went to Shanghai in 1999, since then we've been back in 2002, 2005, 2008 and 2011. The last three times have been since our daughter was born.
On our previous two trips we've had to keep our daughter entertained in between visiting family. Prior to travelling to Shanghai, my wife did a lot of research on places to go.
In this blog we will share our experiences of visiting Shanghai with an active child, review some of the places we visited which will hopefully give you some ideas for your own trip.
